No. There is no charge to you for using the tools and resources on MerckEngage.com.
Can I use all of the tools and resources on MerckEngage.com even if I do not sign up?
Yes. You can use the online tools for meal planning, activity planning, and condition tracking right now. However, you will only be able to print your results. To save information and access additional features that make the tools more customized to you, you must first sign up.

If your health care professional gave you a Sign-Up Kit for MerckEngage Health Partnership Program, you’ll receive:
- A Health Organizer—a binder for keeping health records and condition information all in 1 place

What does "calorie controlled" mean?
Calorie-controlled recipes are for weight loss.
What does "carbohydrate restricted" mean?
Carbohydrate restricted means the recipes are low in sugar—or no refined sweeteners are used in the recipes.
What does "gluten free" mean?
Gluten free means that the recipes do not use any foods containing gluten. Gluten is a name given to the group of proteins found in wheat, rye, barley, and oats.
What does "high fiber" mean?
High fiber means that the recipe contains at least 14 grams of fiber per 1,000 calories.
What does "lactose free" mean?
Lactose free means that the recipes do not include any foods containing lactose. Lactose is a type of sugar found in dairy products; it also may be an ingredient of various other food products.
What does "low fat" mean?
Low fat means that the recipes contain less than 30% fat.
What does "low sodium" mean?
Low sodium means that the recipes have been modified to have only 700 milligrams or less of sodium—or approximately 300 milligrams less than the regular recipes.
What are pop-ups?
In general, pop-ups are new Web browser windows that display information or advertisements. They also can be used to drive traffic to a Web site, capture e-mail addresses, and provide instruction or direction.
