Preheat oven to 375°F.
1. In a small bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, 1⁄2 tsp cinnamon, and Smart Balance spread. Mix with a fork to make a crumble mixture. Set aside.
2. In a large bowl, combine apples, sugar, cornstarch, and remaining 1⁄2 tsp cinnamon. Mix well.
3. Spray an 8 x 8 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Place the apple mixture in the dish. Top with crumble mixture. Lightly press down. Bake 35 minutes.
4. To serve, top with whipped topping.
