Ingredients

13 cup dry quick oats

14 cup whole-wheat flour

14 cup brown sugar

1 tsp cinnamon, divided

2 tbsp Smart Balance Light Buttery Spread

5 apples, peeled, thinly sliced

2 tbsp sugar

1 tbsp cornstarch

Nonstick cooking spray

34 cup reduced-fat whipped topping

Directions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

1. In a small bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, 12 tsp cinnamon, and Smart Balance spread. Mix with a fork to make a crumble mixture. Set aside.

2. In a large bowl, combine apples, sugar, cornstarch, and remaining 12 tsp cinnamon. Mix well.

3. Spray an 8 x 8 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Place the apple mixture in the dish. Top with crumble mixture. Lightly press down. Bake 35 minutes.

4. To serve, top with whipped topping.

Makes 6 servings.
