Ingredients

12 cup low-fat sour cream

12 cup nonfat or 1% milk

2 tbsp flour

12 tsp onion powder

14 tsp salt

2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Nonstick cooking spray

1 tbsp canola oil, divided

1 lb boneless beef sirloin steak, cut across grain into 14-inch-wide strips

4 sliced green onions

2 cups sliced mushrooms

1 tbsp white cooking wine

13 cup water

8 oz wide-noodle whole-wheat pasta, cooked according to directions without salt or fat

Directions

1. In a small bowl combine the sour cream, milk, flour, onion powder, salt, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well. Set aside.

2. Spray a large skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Place the skillet over medium-high heat and add 12 tbsp canola oil. When hot, add beef strips. Cook 4 to 6 minutes or until cooked through. Remove from the skillet. Set aside and keep warm.

3. Add remaining 12 tbsp canola oil to the skillet. When hot, add green onions and mushrooms. Sauté for 2 to 3 minutes. Add wine and water. Bring to a boil.

4. Add sour cream mixture and cooked beef strips to the skillet. Stir and cook 3 to 4 minutes to heat through. Serve over hot pasta.
