Ingredients

3 cups 1% or nonfat milk

6 tbsp flour

2 tbsp dried parsley

12 tsp salt

12 tsp salt-free Mrs. Dash† Lemon Pepper Seasoning Blend

Nonstick cooking spray

2 tbsp olive oil

12 cup diced onion

12 cup diced red bell pepper

2 (6-oz) cans Albacore tuna, low sodium, drained, flaked

6 oz whole-wheat penne pasta, cooked according to directions without salt or fat

1 tomato, sliced

14 cup Parmesan cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

1. In a large bowl, combine milk, flour, parsley, salt, and salt-free seasoning. Mix well. Set aside.

2. Spray a large skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Place the skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. When oil is hot, add onion and bell pepper. Sauté 1 minute.

3. Add milk mixture to the skillet and stir with a wire whisk for 2 to 4 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat.

4. In a large bowl, combine flaked tuna, hot cooked pasta and prepared cream sauce. Mix well. Spray an 8 x 8 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Pour the tuna mixture into the dish.

5. Top with tomatoes and sprinkle with cheese. Bake 20 to 25 minutes.
