Ingredients

Recipe for Seasoned Mashed Potatoes

Nonstick cooking spray

1 tsp canola oil

1 lb (four 4-oz) chicken breasts, boneless, skinned

14 cup pure maple syrup

1 tbsp brown sugar

2 tbsp water

14 cup chopped pecans

Directions

1. Prepare Seasoned Mashed Potatoes recipe according to directions.

2. Spray a large skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Place the skillet over medium-high heat and add canola oil. When oil is hot, add chicken breasts. Cook 3 to 4 minutes on each side until cooked through and browned. Remove from skillet and keep warm.

3. Add the syrup, brown sugar, water, and pecans to the skillet. Cook 4 to 5 minutes, stirring often to reduce sauce and slightly thicken.

4. Serve sauce over chicken breasts with seasoned mashed potatoes.
