1. Boil orzo per package instructions. Once orzo is ready, drain it and return to pot.
2. While still warm, add salt, pepper, oil, and balsamic vinegar, and stir to coat orzo. Add tomatoes and basil and stir to combine.
3. Allow orzo to cool for another 5 minutes and then add the mozzarella cubes, stirring one last time to combine. Serve warm or chilled.
