Ingredients

4 cups or 1 recipe of Marinara Sauce

1 lb ground turkey breast

2 slices whole-wheat bread, cut into small pieces to make bread crumbs

2 egg whites

14 cup finely chopped onion

14 cup nonfat or 1% milk

2 tsp onion powder

1 tsp garlic powder

2 tsp oregano

1 tsp salt-free Mrs. Dash† Original Blend Seasoning

12 cup Parmesan cheese, divided

Nonstick cooking spray

1 tbsp olive oil

8 oz whole-wheat spaghetti pasta, cooked according to directions without salt or fat

Directions

1. Prepare Marinara Sauce recipe according to directions. Heat in a saucepan and keep warm.

2. In a large bowl combine the ground turkey breast, bread crumbs, egg whites, onion, milk, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, salt-free seasoning, and 14 cup of the cheese. Mix well and form into 16 meatballs.

3. Spray a large skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Place the skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. When hot, add the meatballs and cook 15 minutes, turning them often until they are browned and no longer pink inside.

4. Serve marinara sauce with meatballs over hot pasta. Top with remaining 14 cup of cheese.
