Teriyaki Turkey Burger With Pineapple

  1. In a large bowl combine the ground turkey, oatmeal, onion, peppers, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, brown sugar, onion powder, and garlic powder. Mix well. Shape into 4 burger patties.
  2. Spray a broiler pan with nonstick cooking spray and place patties on it. Broil 5 to 6 inches from heat source for 5 minutes on each side. (Burgers may be cooked on the barbeque or in a skillet that has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.) Pineapple slices can be broiled at the same time as burgers.
  3. Serve cooked burger patties on whole-wheat buns that have been prepared with mayonnaise, pineapple slices, and lettuce leaves.
  4. Makes 4 servings.
