Turkey Cutlets With Mushroom Sauce

  1. Spray a large skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Place the skillet over medium-high heat and add the canola oil. When hot, add the turkey cutlets. Cook 5 minutes on each side until lightly browned and cooked through. Remove cutlets from the skillet. Set aside.
  2. Add mushrooms and water to the skillet stirring for 1 minute. Cover and cook 1 to 2 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl combine the milk, flour, salt, and onion powder. Mix well, then add to the skillet. Cook 3 to 4 minutes, stirring with a wire whisk until thickened.
  4. Add the cream cheese and stir 1 to 2 minutes to melt.
  5. Add the cooked turkey cutlets and stir 2 more minutes to heat through. Serve with hot pasta.
  6. Makes 4 servings.
